SETI Power is the trading name of Sustainable Energy Technologies, Inc., a privately held energy storage manufacturer founded in 2020 and headquartered in Ft. Myers, Florida. We are a small, deliberately hands-on company: the people who answer the phone are the people who design and build the packs.

The company was formed around a single conviction — that the reason energy storage keeps failing customers is chemistry, and that the fix is to remove it rather than manage it. That work has produced a graphene matrix supercapacitor cell, the SETI Power Pack family built on it, and a portfolio of 35 provisional patent applications covering hybrid supercapacitor storage.

What began as a cell has since become a stack: packs in the field, the Power Hive ecosystem they plug into, edge hardware that watches them, and the Seti AI platform that ties the whole fleet together. Our research is published openly — including the smart battery white paper by John Cronin and Seth Cronin — and we have partnered with Astra Energy Inc. to widen the reach of the technology.

A solar array is warranted for twenty-five years. Attaching storage that fades after five means re-buying the storage three times over the life of the array — and sizing the system twice, once for today and once for what it will have degraded to.

A cart on a charger earns nothing. Lead-acid needs eight hours and a watering schedule; a pack that refills between rounds changes how many rounds the fleet can turn in a day, and removes the replacement cycle a fleet manager currently budgets for every few seasons.

RV, marine, off-grid cabins and emergency preparedness.

Off-grid is where storage gets judged honestly. There is no service call and no replacement on a weekend — a long way from anywhere, the only thing that matters is whether it works. Salt air, vibration, heat and cold are the normal operating environment, not the edge case.

Seti AI is our visual, node-based command centre for power systems. It brings inverters, packs, grid meters and backup systems onto one live dashboard, lets you wire up automation on a canvas instead of in someone's head, and puts two purpose-built AI agents to work watching the fleet around the clock.

Services and support

What comes with the hardware.

We are a small company on purpose. The people who answer the phone are the people who design and build the packs, which means you are not explaining your installation to a call centre and waiting for it to be escalated to someone who understands it. That shapes everything below.

Application sizing
Tell us the load, the duty cycle and the environment. We will specify the pack rather than leave you to work it out from a datasheet — how many, what voltage, what capacity, and what it will actually do on the worst day of the year.
Integration support
Grid-tie and off-grid on the same hardware. Compatible with standard inverters and charge controllers, and we will work through the wiring, the BMS interface and the commissioning with your installer.
Technical support
Direct access to the engineers. Phone and email, 8am–6pm ET, Monday to Friday. No ticket queue between you and the people who know the hardware.
Warranty
10 years, on a pack designed for thirty. Register the product after installation and the coverage and serial numbers stay on file, so a claim does not start with you hunting for paperwork.
VAR programme
